Artist's Note:
It happened while I was taking my usual aimless walk through Tokyo at night.
The lights of high-rises I normally pass by without a thought, a quiet corner of the sidewalk, or the crisp air when looking up at the sky.
In the middle of the city that has turned so quiet after the daytime hustle, the lonely glow of streetlights and building windows brings a strange sense of calm and warmth.
A quiet moment found within the orderly stillness of the city—this piece captures the atmosphere and gentle gaze experienced during those nighttime walks.

From TOKYORIMPA:
This work subtly captures the quietness of the nocturnal city alongside the thoughtful expression of a young figure through a panel-style composition. The contrast of deep navy and soft, muted tones brings a sophisticated, modern ambiance to any space. Available in three sizes to suit various interiors, it works perfectly as a central art piece in a living room or bedroom, as well as a refined accent in a study or workspace. Offering a sense of calm and sleek elegance to your daily surroundings, it is an ideal choice for creating a contemplative, stylish atmosphere.
