CB (Color Box) Series

In this artwork, I find both simplicity and richness in the way the color fields overlap and interact in various places. Like a gentle drizzle or a heavy downpour, these colors come together to transform the entire space into a vibrant, unified landscape.

As I print each color field onto paper, I imagine how the piece will harmonize with the vases, chairs, curtains, and other furnishings in the home of its future owner.

単純な色面が様々な場所で、様々な重なり方をしている様子に、私はこの作品にシンプルと豊かさを見出しています。
それは優しく降り注ぐ小雨のように、また強く打ち付ける大粒の雨のようにその色面で空間全体を鮮やかな1つの風景にしていきます。私は紙の上に1つ1つ色面を刷りながら、購入された方のお部屋の中で花瓶や、イス、カーテンなどの家具とどのように調和するのだろうかと想像しながら制作しています。
