To avoid the evening shower, I stayed in a café for a while. Suddenly, after an hour or two, the rain stopped.
Then, from the pedestrian bridge on my way home, I saw a scene bathed in the intense light of the setting sun. Everything was illuminated as the evening approached. The air, still damp from the rain, had become incredibly clear.
In the farthest distance, rain clouds stretched across the sky. Behind me, a large drifting cloud began casting a wide shadow over the buildings a little farther away.
For about 20 seconds, a beautiful contrast appeared across the entire landscape. Captivated by the moment, I stayed on the bridge for a while, sketching the scene.
夕立を避けるためにしばらく喫茶店じっとしていました。1、2時間に突然雨が止みました。それから帰り道の歩道橋から、夕方に入ろうとする時刻、とても強いひ日にいろいろなものが照らされている景色が見えました。雨上がりのまだ間く、とても澄んだ空気となっていました。一番遠くでは、雨雲が広がっていました。その私の後ろで流れてきた大きな雲が少し遠くの建物たちに広い影を落としていまし始めていました。その20秒くらい、とてもきれいなコントラストが景色全体に現れたので私はしばらくその橋の上でスケッチをしていました。
