On weekdays, Tokyo is filled with various sounds. However, on holidays, especially on cold winter days, you can sometimes find a place so still that it feels like stepping into another world.
It was a park, slightly removed from the main street. There was no sign of people—only the faint sound of the tall trees gently swaying in the wind. I have always liked places with a quiet, almost melancholic atmosphere. As I stood there for a while, I realized that even the cold seemed to enhance my appreciation of the moment.
That evening, the sky never turned red, unlike most sunsets. As I walked through the trees in the park, I felt a quiet sense of gratitude for having found such a place.
